Consultation from a curious & collaborative Therapist

Consultation for associate therapists, licensed therapists, or drama therapists

Clinical consultations are weekly or twice a month meetings where you can bring questions  to support in your clinical work, and I support you by offering clinical insights, recommended approaches, and reflective listening.

For drama therapists, my consultation hours can count towards your CEs required by the NADTA!

From first-hand experience, I know the difference that having a supportive consultant can make.

In your pre-licensure years, it is particularly valuable to have a clinical consultant who can understand what you are working with, and make space for you to really think through what is happening in the therapy room with your clients.

This is all the more important if you’re in a practice or agency setting that’s busy, under-resourced, or doesn’t support the therapy modality you’re trained in.

My consultation style is curious, collaborative, supportive and engaging.

I understand how much you care about this work, and I want to help you become more confident, clear, and empowered in your clinical decision-making. I want to help you connect more authentically to the kind of therapist you want to be,  and through reflective listening and supportive insights, to help you get closer to the work that you want to be doing daily with your clients.

I’m passionate about creative arts therapy as a core modality for trauma survivors. So often, trauma takes away the ability to imagine, to play, to connect with one’s spontaneous self. Creativity, in itself, can be a powerful antidote to the effects of long-term traumatic stress.

Especially for creative arts therapists, I’m here to help you….

  • If you are pre-licensed, and are doing your experience hours, I can help support you in finding your clinical voice and strengthen clinical decision-making

  • Integrate creative arts methods into trauma-focused individual clinical work

  • Integrate creative arts methods with parts work (IFS or TIST)

  • Integrate creative arts methods into trauma-focused group therapy work

  • Educate your practice or agency on how creative arts methods benefit clients impacted by trauma

I can also help therapists who are looking for…

  • Clinical guidance on working with clients with complex PTSD, PTSD, OSDD, and DID

  • Consultation on how to engage with clients who have dissociative systems

  • Consultation on how to work cross-culturally, with clients who come from a different cultural background
